Friends and Flowers

One of my dearest friends and I worked and reworked our schedules so that we could have one last hoorah as single women. I am so glad we did. Besides staying up till 3 am, laughing over the chili which tasted of cinnamon because it was mistaken for chili powder, drinking late night tea, laughing with my hilarious mama, and discussing all manner of subjects (marriage, family, boys, and difficulties) we also put together the boutonnieres and corsages.
Beautiful dear laughing over something … could it be Marmee dancing in her pjs in the background?

The bunches contain dried larkspur, thistles, tallow berries, and something which looks like a mix between foxtail and wheat. It was fun finding flowers which complemented our blue, gold, and white theme--though they may be considered weeds I love how they turned out!
So thankful for these ladies in my life!

  1. Love you guys! ♥

  2. Frannie, they are so pretty...and I don't think they look like weeds!

  3. Oh I love it!!! The flowers turned out so lovely. I love simplistic like that. =)

  4. Oooh, I love the simple, natural look of these corsages, Frannie! Very tasteful and beautiful indeed! I am SOOO beyond excited to see how everything looks all together (i.e. church, flowers, dress, hair, veil, all the trimmings). You're going to be such a beautiful bride!!

I also wanted to let you know that, because I am aware that you are ridiculously busy and would never have time to do a tag right now, I have given you an honorary tag over at my blog. You can come over and read my silly answers if you like, or if you don't even have time for that, just know that I'm thinking of you and praying for you!! Hugs and blessings your way! <3

    Lots of love,

Hey there, darling!

I'd love to hear your thoughts -- leave a comment below and I'll do my best to give you a reply. There is nothing sweeter then hearing from my readers!

Love, blessings and a steaming cup of coffee,

Frannie Anne
