Greetings sweet friends!
My friend Eden from Growing in Him has tagged me! I really like to do these and I really enjoy reading other's, and so, I'm excited! :o) Thank you Eden!
1. High heels or boots? Well, I don't like to wear high heels, so I would choose boots. But between them both, I would choose boots anyways.
2. What time did you get up this morning? This morning I woke up around 7 o'clock.
3. What was the last movie you saw at the theater? I don't normally go to the theater, but my family and I recently watched Charlie St. Cloud.
4. What is your maiden name? Since I'm not married, my maiden name is Halbert. *Did you know Halbert means "double-headed battle axe"* :o)
5. What is your favorite TV show? I don't really have a favorite tv show, but I guess I would choose a children's cartoon titled Miss Spider's Sunny Patch. It's awfully cute!
6. What do you usually have for breakfast? It depends on the day. During the week I tend to eat something quick like cereal, rice, or toast. On Saturday (since Daddy is home) we have a big breakfast of eggs and potatoes or biscuits and gravy. And on Sunday we'll eat cereal or an egg casserole.
7. What is your middle name? My middle name is Ann.
8. What food do you dislike? Hmm. . .I too dislike brussel sprouts. And while I'll eat them, tomatoes are not my favorite.
9. What is your favorite CD at the moment? Lately, I've been listening to the Harrow family's cd titled "God Our Provider." It puts Scripture verses to song and I love it!
10. What characteristic do you despise? Ah! Well,you know what they say, we often dislike things we see in others because it is in us, so as I answer this question please know that I struggle with these areas. I dislike a pride, gluttony, and rebellion.
11. Favorite clothing? I think my favorite outfits are feminine, simple, and lovely jumpers. But I do love a sweet, feminine shirt and skirt!
12. Anywhere in the world on vacation? Oh! Specifically China and Austria, but I would like to travel Europe and South America.
13. Are you an organized person? Hm. . .yes. But organized does not always mean tidy!
14. Where would you retire to? I hope to retire wherever the Lord would want me.
15. What was your most recent memorable birthday? I have lots of memorable birthdays! I suppose I would choose between my 10th and 16th birthdays. The first is when my sister Allie, my friends, and I ran around the Christmas tree and our dear dog, Goldie, knocked it over! And the second is when I spent a sweet night with my family, the Rowlands, and our dear Pastor and his wife.
16. What are you going to do when you finish this? Go to bed! :o)
17. Furthest place you have ever been to? Hawaii.
18. Person you wish you could meet? Hmm. . .that is a difficult one! I would love to meet Gladys Alward.
19. When is your birthday? January 8th.
20. Are you a morning person or a night person? Well, I think I would prefer to be a morning person, but I never seem to go to bed early enough to enjoy it! But I feel that waking early is best for quiet times and beginning the day well.
21. What is your shoe size? Usually a 7 1/2.
22. Do you own any animals? Yep, our family owns one dog. Kimo!
23. Any news you'd like to share? Yes! 1. I am really enjoying working in the daycare, the kiddies are so cute! 2. My family has been a real blessing to me lately. 3. Jesus Christ is alive and is so good to me! He truly loves us and He has been showing me that lately!
24. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? A missionary. :o)
25. What is your favorite flower? Ooh! :o) Well, I love hydrangeas, roses, morning glories, and a few others. If the Lord wills it, I would like to use hydrangeas in my wedding.
26. What would you currently like to be when you grow up? A missionary teacher wherever the Lord takes me!
27. What is your favorite Bible verse? Psalm 118: 24. "This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
28. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Yellow I believe.
29. How is the weather right now? Last time I looked it was a clear night with many stars!
30. Last person you spoke to on the phone? My Momma.
31. Favorite drink? Water and Dr. Pepper.
32. Favorite restaurant? Los Amigos.
33. Hair color? My hair is brown.
34. What was your favorite toy as a child? Meeko, my stuffed ring-tailed lemur. :o)
35. Spring, summer, fall, or winter? I ♥ winter!
36. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate!
37. Coffee or tea? Coffee please, with some cool whip on top.
38. Wish you were still young? I am young! And besides that, I feel that being older is a wonderful time when God can prepare and use you.
39. Do you want to get married? If the Lord wills, yes, I would like to marry one day.
40. When was the last time you cried? About three days ago. :)
41. What is under your bed? *Gasp, you're not supposed to see under there!* :o) I have different boxes, school supplies, a few dust bunnies, and shoes hiding in the darkness.
42. What did you do last night? We looked at two homes and bought chicken and potatoes for dinner!
43. What are you afraid of? Hmm. . .different bugs, specifically wolf spiders and centipedes. I have to remind myself that God lovingly created them all!
44. Salty or sweet? I enjoy salty things, but I'm known for my sweet tooth at home.
45. Describe yourself in 10 words. A young girl who believes in Jesus. Growing, learning, loves-simple-things. :o)
46. How many years at your current job? This is my third week at the day care!
47. Favorite day of the week? Monday.
48. Favorite movie? Little Women and Tarzan.
49. Have you ever had a crush on anyone? Yes, I have. But I am learning to trust and rest in the Lord. . .so hard, but so rewarding!
50. Do you like finding out all this stuff about your friends? Yes, I do!

I'm interested to read that you would like to visit Austria, it is one of my favourite countries. We ahve spent many happy holidays in or near Salzburg and Vienna, loving the music and the scenery.
